The Student Office, created in 2014, is managed and administered by an executive office made up of nine members elected, for a period of one academic year, by the general assembly of students. He represents the school’s students with the administration and externally. Its mission is to contribute to the influence and prestige of the establishment and to ensure the monitoring and smooth running of student life while ensuring the promotion of the image and reputation of IHEM students.
The IHEM BDE is organized into sub-structures, or cells, which are:
- The club unit, made up of student presidents of all the school’s clubs; chaired by the Manager of Relations with Clubs within the BDE;
- The educational unit; composed of student class delegates, chaired by the Head of the educational unit within the BDE;
- The office cultural unit which coordinates the activities organized by the BDE;
- The external relations unit which is the interface between students and the external environment at all levels: economic, social, cultural, artistic, sporting, etc.
The nine elected members of the BDE thus share the following tasks which are: a President of the BDE, a Vice-President, a Treasurer, a Secretary General, a Deputy Secretary General, a Manager of Relations with the Clubs, a Manager of the cultural unit of the Office, a Head of the educational unit and a Head of external relations.
The IHEM BDE will organize annually, in coordination with the clubs, cells and the school administration, various extracurricular activities, in particular:
- The week of integration of new students into the school;
- The IHEM-ENTREPRISE Forum;
- IHEM Cultural Day;
- Sports tournaments;
- Without forgetting its strong annual participation in the organization of award ceremonies
diplomas.
