Center of Excellence for Language Training

In a globalized world, mastery of several languages including English is essential. This is why IHEM set up a Center of Excellence for Language Training (CEFLA) in 2005, 4 years after the creation of the school. Since its creation, CEFLA’s mission has been to provide English courses to students, company auditors, state civil servants and workers of international organizations, while providing French courses to English-speaking diplomats residing in Mali.
CEFLA is approved for the TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language), TOEIC (Test Of English of International Communication) exams. IHEM partners with renowned partners in a majority of our training courses. Under CEFLA, one of these partners is Georgia State University (GSU). This partnership aims to offer the center support in the development of educational tools intended for teaching English. Other partnerships go in this direction and strengthen the quality and reputation of our programs in Mali and the sub-region.
